This 3-piece license plate frame combines the hidden lock feature of the LU-1000 and the framed unbreakable Lexan windows of the LU-2000.   The locking license plate frame is 100% legal to lock on license plates in California and Nevada.  Lock-Um's design helps all motorists and law enforcement curb the theft of license plates, personalized license plates and their registration tags or stickers.  The beauty of this frame is that you do not need to remove the large main frame in order to replace your yearly registration tags.  Simply unlock and remove the one screw  (or bolt) remove the window frame and install your new registration tag. (No other frame gives you this option).
