LIMITATIONS FOR FOR SOME VEHICLESThe
LU-6000 License Plate Frame requires 6 3/4"
height by 12 5/8" width to fit and clearance
to allow the hinge-frame to unfold. Some,
some SUV's and Pickups with frames installed
behind and downwards of the rear bumper may
not allow the LU-6000 security frame to fold
all the way down. However it should fold
down far enough to install upper registration
tags.

REGISTRATION TAG SECURITY FRAME
This is the only
folding license plate and registration "tags" security frame that has won
approval by our state legislators and all law enforcement. Manufactured to
fit most all vehicles(including Volvo). It has been awarded United States
patents. With our optional flat bar and bolts your LU-6000 security frame
will also lock on license plates and registration tags on all commercial
vehicles including rv's, trucks, trailers, buses and any vehicle that uses a
"bracket" for the attachment of their license plate. The flat bar has
drilled and tapped holes. All you need to do is hold the flat bar on the
rear of your license plate "bracket", install the bolt through your license
plate - then through your security frame - through your license plate
"bracket" and into the "Lockum" flat bar threaded holes. (use furnished 1/4"
bolts). Your frame is made of light weight aluminum and will out last
all of us. Some SUV's, vans, and pickup trucks will not allow our security
frame to fold all of the way down because the license plate is installed
downward and in front of the bumper.The size license plate space required
for the LU-6000 security frame is 6 and 3/4 inches (up and down) and 12
and 5/8 (long).
OUR CYLINDRICAL LOCK
Our cylindrical lock "is purposely hidden"
inside of a heavy aluminum block of metal. Unlike cabinet style "open
locks" thieves will not be able to stick a screw driver into our
cylindrical lock to break it open or damage it. (WE GUARANTEE IT)!The
LU-6000 security frame is reversible. The lock can be positioned either on
the top or the bottom. The lock has many different key combinations. Be
sure not to loose your keys and be sure to remove your security frame
before selling or trading your vehicle.
PLEASE NOTE
Our security frames does not use any illegal license
plate "shield" for the protection of registration tags. (These types of
shields are illegal in many states). Our security frames uses very small
locked on unbreakable Lexan windows that do not cover any license plate
numbers or letters. The small Lexan windows cover over and protects your
registration tags from theft. It does not matter which of the four corners
your state requires your registration tags to be placed on. All Lexan
windows are locked on to the main frame and the main frame must be
unlocked in order to reposition these small Lexan windows. Installing your
new yearly registration tags is as easy as turning on your television,
simply turn your key and the frame will fold down (or up). Install your
new registration tag and fold your frame back up (or down) and it is
locked! It takes less than ten seconds and your new registration tag is
safe. When you have installed your new security frame you will notice that
there are not any screw heads, bolt heads, or any snap caps for thieves to
remove to steal your plate, and you will not see any unsightly license
plate attaching screw (or bolt) holes as they too no longer exist. All you
will notice is a nice smooth flat frame. Also, one other important
advantage your LU-6000 gives you should you decide to move to another
state. All you need to do to accommodate your new state's registration
tags (as long as they are in any of the four corners) is to simply unlock
your frame and reposition the small Lexan windows.
LICENSE PLATE THIEVES
The very first
thing a license plate thief does is remove the screws or bolts that attach
your license plates to your vehicle. With your new LU-6000, that will not
happen. Your license plate attaching screws or bolts are now out of sight
and thieves will not be able to remove them - so what do they do next?
